Lake - Bull Shoals 09/25/04 :
Dam area to Lead Hill: Better fish are being
caught on a Jewel spider jig in green pumpkin / green flash with a green pumpkin
twin tailed grub on long gravel points. Fish the bait on the deeper edge of
these points from 10' - 30' deep. There are also a few fish being caught on
a drop shot rig or spoon over deep water in and around schools of shad. Look
at deep channel swings and bluff ends to hold most of the fish.
Lead Hill to Power site: The backs of most
of the creeks are starting to heat up as the shad begin to migrate back. Early
in the day fish buzz baits and spinner baits back all the way in the back
of most major creeks. As the sun comes up work your way out to the secondary
points and major channel swings and fish a wiggle wart in phantom craw if
there is wind or a Jewel 5/16oz. spider jig in brown / purple flash if it
is calm.
