Arkansas Lakes Fishing Report

Lake - Bull Shoals 10/15/04 :

Dam area to Lead Hill: When the wind is blowing throw a double willow spinnerbait in white or silver in and around any standing timber, the fish are suspended in the trees and can be caught if you work the spinnerbait through the tree. If the wind isn't blowing move out to about 25' on pea gravel flats and points and drag a Jewel 5/8 oz. football jig or 5/16 oz. spider jig in PBJ with a cinnamon purple trailer across the flat, key on any wood or rock cover you come across.

Lead Hill to Power site: Head to the backs of major creek arms and fish a buzz bait early and a spinnerbait as the day progresses, watch for shad to be successful. There is also a good dock bite on the back sides of docks, if there is brush under or around the dock spend more time and effort on that dock it should be holding fish. The cooler water temperature has got the wiggle wart bite started as well, if there is any wind or current fish around the wind and current breaks.
