Lake - Bull Shoals 11/21/04 :
Dam area to Lead Hill: With a little wind you can catch a few
fish on a phantom green wiggle wart on chunk rock banks and points, work the
bait parallel to the bank from 6' - 10' deep. Shad have moved toward the backs
of a few of the creeks, when you find them you will find the fish, throw a
Jewel Lavender shad spinnerbait in and a around the shad to be successful.
Without any wind your best bet is to fish deep with a Jewel 5/8 oz. football
jig in PB&J with a cinnamon purple twin tail trailer on pea gravel points
and flats. Fish the bait from 20' - 50' deep concentrating on any areas that
have a little rock or wood cover.
Lead Hill to Power site: There are still quite a few fish being
caught on a Bandit 100 or Jewel Rush Keel Tandem spinnerbait in the backs
of creeks in and around schools of shad. Early and late you can also catch
a few on a Rampage buzz bait in white in these same areas. If there is little
or no wind move to channel swing and ledge rock banks and fish a Jewel Eakins'
jig in brown purple flash with a green pumpkin Eakins' craw trailer in and
around any wood cover.
