Lake - Bull Shoals 12/13/04 :
Dam area to Lead Hill: Your best bet still is the deep bite,
look for concentrations of shad on bluff end and main lake channel swings,
the fish don't always appear on the graph when you first see the shad, sometimes
they are in the bait and other times they are holding so tight to the bottom
they won't show on your graph. Fish the edges, both bottom and sides, of the
school with a white spoon, drop shot or grub if you don't see any fish on
the graph work the bait just above the bottom and see if you can get them
to react to it, if there are shad around there are usually fish as well.
Lead Hill to Power site: There is still allot of current in
the upper end of Bull Shoals, look for current breaks on points and channel
swings and throw a brown craw or watermelon seed wiggle wart in and around
these spots. If you catch a couple of fish and they seem to stop biting go
back over the same breaks with an Eakins' jig in brown or Missouri craw with
a twin tailed grub trailer to pick up the inactive fish.
