Lake - Bull Shoals 12/18/04 :
Dam area to Lead Hill: The deep bite continues to be the best
pattern, 3/4 oz. white and chrome spoons and drop shot finesse worms fished
on main lake channel swing banks, bluff ends and on the edge of deep flats.
Look for shad to be successful most of the bait seems to be suspending in
35' - 85' of water. There are a few fish being caught on bluff ends and deep
points on Jewel Spider jigs in both PB&J and Brown / purple flash with
a twin tailed grub for a trailer.
Lead Hill to Power site: A Jewel spider jig or a tube fished
on deep points and channel swings is your best bet, PB&J or Missouri craw
with a green pumpkin twin tail are your best color on the jig, green pumpkin
or watermelon red flake on the tube. A few fish being caught on a mojo rigged
french fry on the edge of deeper flats as well as on drop offs near points
and channel swings. There have been a few fish caught on Lucky Craft Pointers
both 100 and 78 sizes, best colors are chartreuse shad and aurora black, fished
around large boulders and lay downs near deeper water.
