Missouri Lakes Fishing Report

Lake - Pomme De Terre 10/29/04 :

All of the rain has helped the fishing, shad have started to stack up in the back of some of the bigger creeks and some of the fish have followed. Throw rattle traps in chrome blue back and Jewel Rampage Keel Banger buzz baits in and around the shad in these creeks. If the wind is blowing there will be fish on flats chasing shad and you can catch them on a rattle trap or a Jewel Lavender shad spinner bait in 6" to 4' of water. You can also catch some bigger fish in bluff pockets and up the river on wood cover using an Eakins' Flippin jig in black / blue flash with a zoom flippin' blue super chunk jr. as a trailer.

Crappie are getting better, with most of the fish being caught in 10' - 15' of water on minnows and squirts around trees and brush.
