Lake - Pomme De Terre 12/17/04
:
Pomme is still high but the water temperature and the amount
of water being drawn out of it have moved the fish out of the brush, most
of the fish are being caught on deep points and bluff ends on Missouri craw
and brown / purple flash Eakins' jigs with a twin tailed grub for a trailer.
Fish the bait down to 25' and work it slowly through any brush or rock pile
you find. There have been a few fish caught on windy points with a Lucky Craft
pointer 100 or 78, you can catch a mixed bag of fish doing this right now
anything from whites to blacks to walleye to musky so hang on.
Crappie have moved deep and can be caught on bluff ends and
channel swing banks over wood in 25' - 35' of water.
