Missouri Lakes Fishing Report

Lake - Pomme De Terre 12/24/04 :

Two patterns on Pomme right now, the best one is to fish windy deep points with a Lucky Craft pointer or rouge. This pattern is resulting in a mixed bag of bass, from dinks to 4 + lbs., walleye, big crappie, and even a 24" musky, so you never know what you are going to catch but there are fish on almost all of the deeper points right now. If there isn't any wind fish these same points with a brown or PB&J Eakins' jig with a twin tailed grub from the bank to 25' deep. The bite has been pretty subtle so pay close attention to your line.

Crappie have moved deep, a few have been caught on bluff ends and channel swing banks over wood in 25' - 35' of water.
