Missouri Lakes Fishing Report

Lake - Pomme De Terre 12/29/04 :

When the wind is blowing you can still catch a mixed bag of fish on a Lucky Craft pointer on deeper points throughout the lake. It seems like every fish on the lake moves up to feed on these points when the wind is blowing. A secondary pattern is to fish an Eakins' jig on bluff ends and channel swings, black / blue flash with a blue twin tail has been the best color, concentrate your efforts on any wood cover (laydowns etc.) that you find they will hold most of the fish.

Crappie have moved deeper and are being caught on bluffs with live minnows and swimmin' minnows in 20' - 30', parallel the bluffs.
