Arkansas Lakes Fishing Report

Lake - Bull Shoals 03/20/05:

Dam area to Lead Hill: Jewel 5/16 oz. PB&J spider jigs or green pumpkin 4" tubes fished on pea gravel points are taking a few small mouth right now. The fish seem to be moving up to feed later in the day and can be caught from 15' - 25' deep moving shallower as the day progresses. Drag the bait slowing on the bottom and pay close attention to any rock or wood cover you bring the bait across.

Lead Hill to Power site: Wiggle warts and bandits will still catch active fish on chunk rock points and swings toward the back of creek arms and larger northern pockets. Look for these fish to be from 3' - 8' deep, best colors are brown craw and natural green craw, the are allot of smaller fish that have moved up and it you will catch several shorts for each keeper. You can also catch a few bigger females on a Jewel 5/8oz. football jig in PB&J if you move out to about 30' deep on pea gravel points.
