Arkansas Lakes Fishing Report

Lake - Bull Shoals 11/26/05:

Dam area to Lead Hill: The best bite has been to target smallmouth on bluff ends and channel swings with transitions form larger rock to fist size chunk rock. IF the wind is blowing throw Jewel Lavender shad spinnerbaits, wiggle warts and bandits tight to the bank, if it is calm switch over to an Eakins’ jig or Jewel Pro Spider jig in PB&J with a 4” jig trailer and work the bait from the bank down to 25’ deep.

Lead Hill to Power site: Jewel tandem rush spinnerbaits, wiggle warts and bandits are producing in the wind up the river as well. Look for transition areas and secondary points to be holding most of the fish. If it is calm switch to an Eakins’ jig in Missouri craw with a green pumpkin Eakins’ craw for a trailer and fish it tight to both wood and rock cover.
