Arkansas Lakes Fishing Report

Lake - Bull Shoals 12/02/05:

Dam area to Lead Hill: The smallmouth have moved up with the colder weather and are being caught on windy chunk rock banks on wiggle warts and Jewel Lavender shad spinnerbaits. Concentrate on the windy side; the fish seem to group up waiting on bait to swim by. On calmer days drop shot worms, grubs and spoons are producing in and around schools of shad, find the bait and you will find the fish.

Lead Hill to Power site: While not as cold as allot of lake the water in the upper end of Bull Shoals is much cooler and dirtier than the main lake. Several fish are being caught in the backs of some of the bigger creeks on Jewel Tandem Rush spinnerbaits and Lucky Craft R.C. 1.5 & 2.5 crankbaits. Most of the fish are coming tight to cover and it takes multiple casts to the same piece of cover to get the fish to bite.
