Missouri Lakes Fishing Report

Lake - Pomme De Terre 02/27/05:

Pomme gets better every week, most of the fish are being caught on Lucky Craft Pointers on the main lake. Look for most of the fish to be on deeper points and you will need to allow your bait to pause between 10 - 20 seconds between twitches. There are also several fish being caught on Eakins' jigs on channel swing banks in the major creek arms and on the main lake, a black / blue flash with a blue Yamamoto twin tail grub is your best color choice. If the weather holds the fish should really move shallow this week, look for the fish to be up on chunk banks by the weekend.

Crappie are getting better as well, most are still being caught on live minnows in 10' - 15' over wood cover.
