Missouri Lakes Fishing Report

Lake - Pomme De Terre 03/21/05:

There is still a jerkbait bite on Pomme but it has slowed over the past week. Most of the fish being caught this week were on wiggle warts, bandits and other crawdad color crankbaits. Target both main lake and secondary chunk rock points 3' - 8' deep, fish ledges and maintain contact with the bottom. You can catch a few on a spinnerbait as well but the bite does not seem as strong for numbers or size of fish.

Crappie have gotten a little better, look for them to be in 15' - 20' on wood, try swimmin minnows and 2" grubs or live minnows.
