Missouri Lakes Fishing Report

Lake - Pomme De Terre 05/28/05:

The river bite continues to be good; buzz baits and g-splashes or pop-r's early and late will provide allot of action. As the day warms up switch to an Eakins' flippin' jig in Missouri craw with a Chompers green pumpkin jig trailer and make a pitch to each side of every piece of wood you see up the river. On the main lake there is a good topwater bite in the morning and evening and an Eakins' jig fished on transition banks near channel swings will both produce bites.

Crappie have continued to improve and can be caught on 2" grubs, squirts and live minnows 15' - 25' deep in standing timber.
