Carolina rigging main lake points, flats and humps is still your best bet, green pumpkin lizards, salty sinkers and Chomper 5" skirted grubs are all producing bites. A Jewel 5/8 oz. football jig in Texas Craw with a 5" green pumpkin Chomper jig trailer is another good choice around off shore structure as well as in the deeper brush piles. Night fishing has been very productive as well using a black / blue flash Eakins' jigs with a 4" Chomper jig trailer from 12' - 20' deep in brush piles and on deeper ledges.

Live minnows fished in brush and standing timber around 15' deep is your best bet for crappie
