Missouri Lakes Fishing Report

Lake - Pomme De Terre 07/25/05:

The best bite this past week has been up the river; black / blue flash Eakins' flippin' jigs with Chomper 4" jig trailers in black / blue laminate, Chomper ultra tubes in green pumpkin / orange and Berkley power worms in blue fleck or purple have all been working around log jams and deeper standing timber. Early and late you can also catch a few fish on white Jewel Keel Banger buzz baits, Rattle Traps and Lucky Craft R.C. 1.5 in chartreuse shad when they start working over bait.

Crappie fishing remains tough in the daylight hours, switch over to night fishing and concentrate on deep trees 20' - 30' deep.
