Missouri Lakes Fishing Report

Lake - Pomme De Terre 08/06/05:

The river is still where the better bite is, log jams and stumps fished with an Eakins’ flippin jig and craw in black / blue flash or a purple or blue fleck power worm will catch fish all day long. Early in the day you might catch a couple of fish on a pop-r or g-splash around the same cover. On the main lake try fishing deep brush piles or drop offs with an Eakins’ jig in Missouri craw with a Chomper jig trailer.

Crappie fishing is still better at night with live minnows and a floating light.
