Missouri Lakes Fishing Report
Lake - Pomme De Terre 08/13/05:
An Eakins’ jig or Jewel Football jig has been your best bait over the past week, most of the fish are coming on deeper main lake and secondary points from 6’ – 25’ deep. PB&J with a green pumpkin Eakins’ craw has been the best color combination on the Eakins jig and brown / purple flash with a green pumpkin Chompers jig trailer has been your best bet on the football jig. The fish will be shallow holding to rock or wood cover early and moving deeper through out the day.
Crappie are still best at night with live minnows under a light, look at deep wood cover for the best bite.
