Missouri Lakes Fishing Report

Lake - Pomme De Terre 10/27/05:

Buzz baits and top waters are still producing early and late, later in the day switch over to a Norman deep little N or a rattle trap and concentrate on main lake flats. The river bite continues to be good with fish working shad through out the day. Rattle traps, buzz baits and spinner baits are all effective when you see the fish working the bait, if the action slows switch over to an Eakins jig in Missouri craw with a green pumpkin Chompers jig trailer and concentrate on the deep pockets and log jams.

Bigger crappie are starting to show up with most of them coming on live minnows fished over top of brush piles.
