Missouri Lakes Fishing Report

Lake - Pomme De Terre 11/04/05:

The river bite is still pretty good, look for schools of shad on flats in the morning and in the pools in the afternoon, throw Jewel Keel Banger buzz baits, rattle traps and Lucky Craft RC 1.5 in and around the shad. Later in the day move to the log jams and deep pools and throw Eakins’ flippin jigs in black / blue flash with a blue super chunk Jr. On the main lake look for most of the fish to be holding on deep points and channel swings, they can be caught on Eakins’ jigs or Texas rigged power worms.

Most of the crappie are still being caught on live minnows over brush and in the trees 15’ – 25’ deep.
