Missouri Lakes Fishing Report

Lake - Pomme De Terre 1/14/05:

Pomme is about 14' high and rising, your best bite is still an Eakins' jig in black / blue flash with a flippin' blue twin tail grub for a trailer fished on deeper ledges and brush piles. You will need to fish slowly in 10' - 20' of water, there is allot of "stuff" in the water now and the fish don't seem to be on any one thing in particular, pick an area and fish it thoroughly. With a little wind you can catch a few on a Lucky Craft Pointer, Nishiki has been the best color, fished on deeper points and bluff ends, pause the bait for about 15 - 30 seconds between twitches.

Crappie have moved deep from 20' - 30' suspended over timber and brush, try swimming minnow or live minnows.
