Missouri Lakes Fishing Report
Lake - Pomme De Terre 12/04/05:
The water temperature up the river has crashed and the bite
has gotten tough. Look toward the dam and main lake to find a more consistent
bite. Eakins’ jigs and tubes in browns and greens have been producing
on deep main lake points, any brush piles or other cover really needs to
be fish hard. A few fish have been caught on small crankbaits on windy days
but chances are you will catch a mixed bag of bass, whites and an occasional
musky. Key on the windy side of chunk rock points and make parallel casts
to be effective.
Crappie fishing is still good, live minnows, squirts and grubs fished over
top of wood in 25’+.
