Missouri Lakes Fishing Report

Lake - Pomme De Terre 1/23/05:

Pomme is still high and dirty, most of the lake is muddy or very stained. The bite is extremely tough with few fish being caught right now. Your best bet is an Eakins jig in black / blue flash with a blue pork chunk for a trailer fished very slow on bluff ends and channel swings. Don't expect a lot of bites so pay close attention. There are allot of shad in main lake pockets all over the lake try fishing a 3" Yamamoto Senko in white weightless in the schools of shad.

Crappie are tough as well try live minnows over brush in 20' - 35' of water.
