Missouri Lakes Fishing Report

Lake - Pomme De Terre 1/27/05:

Pomme is still about 6' high and most of the lake is stained to muddy. Best bite is on an Eakins' jig in black / blue flash with a blue pork chunk for a trailer on bluff ends and channel swings. The fishing is still pretty tough and bites are very subtle so pay close attention to your line, if it moves or you loose contact with the bottom set the hook. A few fish have been caught closer to the dam on a Lucky Craft Pointer in nishiki, key on deep points and bluff ends and pause the bait for 15 - 30 seconds between twitches.

Crappie are tough as well try live minnows over brush in 20' - 35' of water.
