Best fly patterns for the week: Generation picked up last week and the bite has been tough, size 18 zebra midges, scuds and san juan worms have all been working.

Best spinning tackle: When they run water the fishing is great; little cleos and buoyant spoons continue to be your best bet, super dupers are a close second, if you like to drift bait try orange power bait or live night crawlers.
