Arkansas Lakes Fishing Report
Lake - Bull Shoals 04/01/06:
Bull Shoals Lake Fishing report submitted
as a community service by SPRING CREEK ENTERPRISES 417 273 4859
Both lakes have come up slightly, and the water temperature
is starting to come up again also, now in the low 50’s.
On Bull Shoals, Wilderness Trail reports that Bass had moved out a little
farther with the cold and stormy weather we had. As things start to warm
up again, look for them to be back into the creeks and pockets in 10’ to
30’ of water. For lures try tube baits, Suspending Rogues, Wiggle Warts,
or Spider Jigs.
For White Bass, try the mouths of pockets and edges of flats in the creek
arms. Roadrunners or small spoons are the best bet.
Walleye have been a little tougher, but with the warm up expect them to
be on shallower points and flats near to deeper water in the creek arms.
For lures, Shad Raps, X-Raps, Glass Shad, and Lucky Craft are the ones to
try.
Until next week, this is Ron Schneider wishing you Peace and Good Fishing!
