Both lakes have dropped slightly this past week.

Water temperature is in the upper 70’s.

On Bull Shoals, Crappie action has picked up, with fish being caught on live minnows around brush piles.

Largemouth Bass are hitting top water early in the morning; look along bluff walls or in the middle of creek channels. Later in the morning work drop offs and points in 30’ to 40’ of water. Best lures then have been baby brush hogs, finesse worms, or 5” Sinkos.

Smallmouth are in 35’ to 40’ of water and hitting tube baits, centipedes, or football jigs.

Walleye action is good, with fish being caught on flats and channel swings. Crawler or Leech rigs are working well on a bottom bouncer, also trolling with lead core line and Hot’N Tots, Reef Runners, or Glass Shad.

Night time action for both Bass and Walleye has been picking up.note***** Try the new MEPPS GLO series. The chip-resistant vinyl finishes in high visibility really get the job dona at night. SCE DS
