The fishing has picked up; at least until the recent heavy rains. The lake has almost returned to normal pool. The rapid rise has scattered the bait fish and slowed the bite until the bait schools up again.

The FLW tour is on the lake this weekend. They will probably find black bass shallow and in post-spawn mode.
there are still some on the beds, but a lot have moved out already.

Crappie are biting and many good catches are seen. Trot liners are doing well on cats.

Walleye are biting nightcrawlers slowly trolled around thirty foot humps
