The fish have been biting on top a little.

Walleye are still being caught on nightcrawlers slowly trolled.

Black bass are in the shallows around bushes and trees.

Crappie can be caught on minnows around trees.

Catfish are hot on jugs and trot lines.

The bite should remain good until after the holiday when the lake will be torn to shreds by the pleasure boaters. It probably will take three or four days to get back to normal.
