The fish are biting. Hybrids are schooling a little. Black Bass are hitting early and at night. Catfish are hot on jugs and trot lines. Walleye are hitting nightcrawlers and slow trolled crank baits.

It is summer time. Lots of boats during the day but fish can be caught all day. Schooling Hybrids will only get better as time goes on. Top water baits early. Spoons after they sound. Graphics are an integral part of a successful trip. Trolling Hot n Tots and gay blades trolled and thrown are also taking good numbers of Hybrids.

Most people do not like the taste of these fish. But if you keep the fish on ice from catching and cleaning and then remove all the 'red' meat .Sources indicate they are tasty. But I usually send them to folks on my wife's side of the family. They do not complain because they think they are not cooking the fish correctly. I reaffirm these thoughts. Anyway it works for me.
