The fis are biting when found.

The hybrids are hitting secret weapons and swim baits.

Spotted bass are biting grubs and small surface plugs (Rapala skitter walks)

Largemouth are on brush piles late on spinner baits and jig and pigs.

Catfish are slow but can be caught on jugs and trot lines. Walleye are being caught by trolling nightcrawlers in thirty feet of water.

Arkansas Fish and Game has indicated a large hatch of shad in Greers. This has been the case for the past two years. The Hybrids are at record weights and the fall season should be without compare. A fall trip is in my plans. If you like catching 20 pound plus Hybrid bass on top give this lake some serious consideration this fall. Don Schnable
