Cooler weather has arrived and with it the schooling has started. Hybrids are being caught on top, whites and Black bass also.some walleye are still biting on nightcrawlers trolled deep. The bite is primary

Addendum : The best activity has been at first light. The action continues heavily until the sun light gets intense. Top water baits are the best with the usual (spooks-tiny torpedos) getting the most play. After the morning rush the summer time pattern takes hold. Thermocline with various plastic baits fished primarily on the main lake points and structures. However as the fall intensifies the Hybrid action on top will increase and maintain all day long , on and off. For those of you who have not fished nor witnessed this occurrence I strongly recommend a trip the Greers Ferry Lake now. You will be highly impressed. Don Schnable
