Kentucky Lakes Fishing Report

Lake - Lake Barkley 02/28/06:

Fishing today was slow. The water temperature did rise to 46 degrees with all the warm sun.

Crappie fishing has been slow for a few days, but now the water is warming fishing will improve pretty fast. Quite a few
fishermen have been on the water but most fishing including largemouth largemouth.

Smallmouth and largemouth will start moving into the gravel
banks any day while the warm weather is here. Some very good fishing is
just around the corner. It felt really good just to be on the water
today even with a slow bite.

TIP: Get ready spring is not far away.
