Norfork Lake Arkansas fishing reports

Bass - Good numbers and sizes of Blacks, Kentuckies, and Smallmouth are
being caught on Crankbaits fished along wind blown banks. The Rogue bite
is still on with nice size blacks being caught in debts of 5 to 15 feet of
water. Best places have been Float Creek, Panther Creek and up in
Bennetts. On Calm days use a Smoke Flat Tail Grub on a 1/4 to 3/8 oz jig head.

Stipers - the Night bite is ON! Best baits are Super Rogues in dark
colors. Several 10 to 15 pounders have been caught just after dark off of
flats.

Waleyes - Starting to come on good. The most productive method has been
casting Lucky Craft Pointer 100's, Rogues, Reef Runners and Norman Razor
Minnows. The best times have been early am and late afternoon into the
1st hour to two after dark. Good size Wally's in the ranges of 4 to 6 lbs
and a few larger ones above 10 have been reported!

Crappie - The crappies have started to hit jigs, soft plastics and minnows
in 3 to 15 foot of water around brush piles. The best jigs have been the
Zig-Jig in 1/16 oz colors white/gray, ginger, black/yellow, and black.
Norfork Lake Crappie Jigs in 1/16oz colors pink/white, blue/white, and
chartreuse/white. Bobby Garland custom softbaits in various colors have
also worked well.
