Norfork Lake Arkansas fishing reports

On Lake Norfork, Cranfield Junction says the Bass are already picking up. Look in pockets and on points of the creek arms, try grubs, Lucky Craft lures, and smaller crankbaits.

Walleye are becoming more active, last light and at night are the best times. For lures, Rogues have been the best. Most action is from Red Bank and on up. There is also some good day time action being reported on live shiners, either tipped on a jig or fished plain.

Crappie action is also picking up, they are being caught anywhere from 5’ to 25’ deep near brush piles. Try Bink’s Crappie Spoons, Zip Jigs, small Marabou jigs, or small live minnows.

Striper action has now picked up again, with best action early or late in the day. They are moving into most of the main creek arms. There is also some good night time action in the dam area. For lures, try Rogues or Redfins, or larger live Shiners or Shad fished shallow on balloon lines, flat lines, or side-planers.
