Norfork Lake Arkansas
fishing reports
07/03/06:
With the hot weather this past week with no rain the lake is
now at normal 552. ft.
The water temp is still in the low 80's and in the mid 80's
later in the day.
There's still a good top water action early till about 7:30
then dies off after the sun gets up a little.
Zaraspooks have been working real well. Then after the topwater
is over you can catch them with jigs or carolinarigs.
The walleye are still around 30-40ft.on
flats and points.
The crappie are down around 18ft.
and the bite has slowed down some, according to Harvey Hall (Mr. Crappie).
When the top water action is going on you are liable to catch
anything from largemouth, smallmouth, whites, small stipers and hybrids up
to 5-7lbs.They are running all together. As for the nite bite for bass try
8" red or red&silver fleck, then after dark try saltcraws or a singlespin.
Till next week Good Fishing!!!!
