Norfork Lake Arkansas Fishing Reports

07/22/06:

On Lake Norfork , the Bluegill bite is hot. Try Crickets or Redworms fished in 15’ to 20’ of water.

Crappie are hitting live minnows off deeper brush piles in 25’ of water.

Bass action is fair, try early and late in the day with Larew worms in red/gold flake or jigs and trailers in blk/blue.

Walleye action is good from Robinson Point down to the dam. Jigging with Bink’s spoons is working well in 35’ to 40’ of water. Harness rigs with Nightcrawlers or leeches is another good bet. Trollers are scoring with Hot-N-Tots or Glass Shad.

Stripers are in deeper water and also from Robinson Point down to the dam. Trollers are scoring at 30’ deep early in the morning, and a little later at 45’ to 60’ deep. Try Roadrunners in Red or Chartreuse with Chartreuse tails. Another hot bait is the Storm Swim Shad in Pearl color.
