Hi Folks! This is Ron Schneider with this week’s fishing report.
Lake Norfork has dropped slightly,
Bull Shoal has been fairly stable this past week.
Water temperature is in the
upper 80’s on both lakes.
On Lake Norfork , the best Bass
action is at night. Try brush piles at 30’ with jig &
pig or Larew worms.
Bluegill action is still
very good on crickets, bigger fish are a little deeper, try 25’
to 35’ of water.
Striper action is good early
in the morning, before first light to about 6:30 AM.
Trollers are scoring from
the bridges down to the dam area at about 35’ to 45’ deep
over deeper water. The hot bait this week has been the new Berkley Pogey
in Shad color. Jigging with the Bink’s spoon in white or the new
Glow in the Dark color has been working well also. Try points and ledges
in 35’ to 65’ of water.
Those same spoons are also catching some nice Walleye
in the dam area, and part way into Big Creek.
