Hi Folks! This is Ron Schneider with this week’s fishing report.
Water temperature is in the
mid to upper 80’s.
On Lake Norfork , the Crappie
are being caught on brush piles in 20 – 25’ of water and
best bait is live minnows.
Bass action is better at
night, try blk/blue jigs or Larew worms in red/gold flake in 15’
to 25’ of water.
The Walleye action is good,
with fish being caught on Bink’s spoons in white colors in the
dam area, try 30 – 35’ of water.
Striper action is also good
in the dam area, try trolling swim baits at 40’ to 50’ deep
in the deeper water.
The hottest action is on Bluegill
in 20’ to 25’ of water. There are some very nice ones being
caught at that depth, and Crickets are the hot bait.
Catfish action is good in
the creek arm channels on cut bait at 25’ to 30’.
Until next week, this is Ron Schneider wishing you Peace and good fishing!
