Here we are in the dog days of summer, but you can still catch fish.
The nite bite slowed down alot this week, you have to hit alot of different
banks. The topwater bite for bass early
was good using any topwater bait.
You can still catch some walleye
35-40ft on flats and points with jigging spoons.
The whites,hybrids and strippers
are down 40 ft. in 60-80ft. Caught a couple in the 30 lb class along
with some 20's. These fish were caught spooning.
The lake is at 547.6.
Till next week Good Fishing!!!!!!!!! 8-6-06

Trout: Norfork river: with
generation occuring the boat
fishermen have been doing well with Rapala's, Colorado Spoons, Zig Jigs,
and power bait. the Fly Fishermen are doing well also using streamers
or nymphs.
Wooly buggers and sowbugs or scuds have done well recently.
With a little rain shower now and then, look for the small tributaries
comming into the rivers and fish them! San juan worms or egg patters
have done nicely. Get ready or the Hopper action due to the warm weather!
Also try some terrestials...
