The water temp did't change much this week it's still in the mid 70's. The lake has dropped to 544.5 which is 6 inches from last week.

The fishing patterns are still the same this week also. There is still a topwater bite in the morning and it is lasting for a couple hours.

The clear spook was working real good. As I mentioned last week don't put that topwater rod away till your done fishing. The stripers, hybrids and whites are from the surface down to 60 ft. The spoon bite is still pretty good, (silver or white).

There were some good largemouth caught this week, one was alittle over 5lbs. The best bite after the surface bite was over was on a jig.(brn/grn). The walleye were a little hard to find. One guy that I know fishes with crawler harnesses reported that it was tough this week.

Till next week Good Fishing!!!!!!!!! 10-1-06
