There has been no generation on the white river. Just
about any bait you want is working for rainbows. Browns are biting sculpins and minnows or
rapalas floaters or smithwick rouges. For rainbows and lures it hit or
miss good
days and bad for lures. When they are hitting them just about anything
in the line of trout is working.
Fly fishing has been great on midges, soft hackles (better in the afternoon)
and caddis in the afternoon have been good. Seems like if you stay in one
spot you need to change often
