North Fork of the White
Water levels are still holding strong running around 560 cfs, great water. The
upper Blue Ribbon (Kelley Ford and below) area is fishing real well with good
numbers taking Cracklebacks, Soft Hackles, RFSN's, and Teal Princes. Lower Blue
Ribbon (above Blair Bridge to Patrick Bridge) is fishing good as well with Golden
Stones, Cracklebacks, Princes, and Hare's Ears.
Recent hatches have been great with Caddis, BWO's, and some Dun's coming off.
We haven't had amazing numbers on dries yet but there are always a few fish "looking
up." Swinging Cracklebacks through the fish during the hatches has been
very productive. Basically I would not fish the river without #12-16 Elk Hair
Caddis and #12-16 Bead Head (or glass bead) Crackleback.
