Lake - Pomme De Terre 04/03/06:

Wiggle warts have really started to become the dominate bait on Pomme this past week, chunk rock and mixed rock points around spawning areas seem to be holding most of the fish. Windy banks have more aggressive fish than do calm ones. Several fish are also being caught on Eakins’ jigs and craw combos, secondary points in the mouths of spawning coves have been the most productive locations and any wood cover needs to be fished hard.

Crappie have started to move up shallow and can be caught on live bait or 2” squirts.
