The bigger fish continue to be relating to brush piles and other deep cover on main lake points, humps and roll offs. Jewel ½ oz and 5/8 oz football jigs in brown / purple flash or Missouri craw matched up with a 5” green pumpkin Chomper jig trailer has been a very effective way to catch these fish.

For numbers of fish a topwater or buzz bait early is tough to beat then switch to a R.C. 1.5 or Bandit 100 once the sun comes up. Concentrate your efforts on windy points, banks and bluff pockets.
