Missouri Lakes Fishing Report

Lake - Pomme De Terre 11/04/06:

The fish have made a big move this past week at Pomme. Several good fish have been caught shallow on main lake chunk rock, ledge rock and bluff end points and banks. War Eagle spinnerbaits in white, white / chartreuse and mouse colors have all been effective as have War Eagle and Lunker Lure buzzbaits in white / chartreuse and black all on these deeper windy points.

On calm days these locations will produce fish on Eakins’ jig in Missouri craw or brown both with green pumpkin Paca chunks fished from the bank out to 20’ deep paying close attention to any brush, rock or wood cover you find along the bank. Topwaters will also produce early and late with Pop-R’s and G-Splashes out producing most baits, focus on mixed rock points near deep water where schools of shad are close to the surface.
