Crappie fishing has changed a little the fish have backed off the banks a little. We
fished the other day and caught a lot of fish in 10 ft of water inside the creeks. The
approach we used was dipping the trees in that depth. We used our ten foot poles
and minnows for bait.We caught a lot of quality fish most of them being females.
Bass fishing is good the fish are in shallow water and the bite is on.We
are catching them on spinner baits and tube baits.Look for the shallow side
of any creek and start fishing. There has been several good fish caught this
week. The best color of spinner bait to use is white or gray in the 1/4 oz.
Catfish are coming in we seen several flatheads come in.Some being heavy
weights. The best approach to use is fish the toughest to get into spot you
can find. Set your lines or jugs in 10 ft of water ,down 5 ft using gold
fish or cut bait and you will catch fish. The more the timber the better.
White bass no report.
Water clarity good
Lake level 706.0
