Crappie fishing has not changed the fish
are in the fence rows and isolated trees.Look for these areas in 12
ft of water or more and fish down 10 ft.The bite is lasting all day.The
bait of choice is minnows.Don't spend a lot of time on a tree.We are
seeing a lot of big crappie come in.
Bass fishing is fair fish the main lake
and secondary points. Fish a top water early up shallow and then move
out and switch to a 10 inch red shad worm. The fish are all wood related
so look for timbered points.
Catfish are being caught on jug lines using
fresh cut shad.Fish the flats in 12 ft of water and you will catch fish.We
are seeing several blue cats come in.
White bass are surfacing early and late
most days fish early morning and late evening using any thing that resembles
a shad and it will work. The damn are is the best.
Reminder the hotter the better for crappie fishing,
the fish stay in the same areas and don't go deeper. Now is the time
to take a kid fishing there is a lot of action.
Lake level 706.00
water clarity great shape.
